The hotel was old and filthy, full of dust, with an annoying walk from the rooms to reception, and very overpriced vending machines, but it is located in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were freezing, which was quite uncomfortable.

My stay at the lodge was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated, but being separate from all amenities was a bit inconvenient. The service was great overall, with staff being understanding of unique situations, but the receptionist at check-out seemed solely focused on charging us. While the location was a bit hidden, it was happy to help, but getting a taxi was difficult for a nearby event. The dining experience offered a great cooked breakfast but started a bit late, yet being a buffet style with a variety was impressive. The lodge's facilities were decent despite the high bar prices.
